COMMON QUESTIONS

PVC wall and ceiling panels are lightweight, fully waterproof panels that fit over walls and ceilings as an alternative to tiling. They interlock with a tongue and groove joint for a seamless finish with no grout lines, which is why they are widely used in bathrooms, wet rooms, shower enclosures, kitchens and utility rooms.
The difference is panel width and finish. Neptune 250 panels are 250mm wide and come in packs of four covering 2.6m², in lengths from 2.6m to 4m depending on colour. Neptune 1000 Mega Panels give 1m of coverage per panel at 2.4m high, so there are fewer joins on a large wall. Grout Line panels are 1m wide, 2.6m long and 10mm deep, with routered grooves that create a 3D tile effect in herringbone or hexagonal patterns.
Yes. PVC panels are fully waterproof and are one of the most common specifications for bathrooms, wet rooms and shower enclosures. Because there is no grout, there are no porous joints for water to get into, which is what causes the black mould and staining seen on tiled walls.
Yes. Panels cut with standard tools and the interlocking design means they go up quickly, typically at least 50% faster than tiling the same area. There is no grouting, no waiting for adhesive to cure between stages, and no specialist cutting equipment needed. We stock the matching trims, adhesives and sealants so you can order everything in one go.
Most installations need a combination of internal corners, external corners, end caps and butt joints, which seal the panel edges and cover the joins. We stock the full trim range alongside the panels, including GBP edge trims. If you are unsure what your layout needs, send us your measurements and we will list it out.
Wipe them down with a damp cloth or a mild detergent solution. No specialist cleaning products are needed, and unlike tiled walls there is no grout to scrub, whiten or replace, and no sealant to reapply.
Yes to both. The panels are light enough to fit on ceilings, which is a common use in bathrooms and wet rooms, and they hold up well in commercial settings such as offices, salons and washrooms. For heavy commercial use or high-traffic areas, SPC wall panels are the tougher option.
